Accepting Applications and Interviewing NOW for Fall! CCEGL provides educators, artists and community activists with an exciting learning journey that combines new awareness of crucial environmental themes, global consciousness raising and critical literacy development.
Content is presented through a series of documentary films and short readings. The upcoming Institute begins on September 14th with a weekend retreat on the Russian River and culminates in late December/early January with a collaborative teaching workshop in an indigenous community in El Salvador or Oaxaca (TBA).

The CCEGL Institute also carries 10 (optional post graduate) units from Cal State East Bay. There are films to view and articles to read in preparation, before beginning.
